Born from Frustration
Selby's Communications started with a simple observation: Honolulu businesses deserved better phone support than they were getting. National vendors treated Hawaii like an afterthought, with response times measured in days rather than hours.
Our founder, Marcus Selby, spent 15 years working for major telecom companies before deciding there had to be a better way. He saw small businesses struggle with system outages, outdated equipment, and support reps who couldn't even pronounce Hawaiian street names correctly.
In 2015, Marcus launched Selby's Communications with a radical concept: treat every client like they're your only client. Provide fast response times, local technicians who know the islands, and honest advice that puts business needs first.
