General Questions

Do you offer emergency service?

Yes, absolutely. We understand that phone system failures can bring business operations to a halt. Our emergency support line is available 24/7 for critical issues. For existing customers with maintenance plans, we guarantee a response within 2 hours for emergencies. Even without a maintenance plan, we'll do our best to get someone to you quickly—just call our emergency line at (808) 457-7253.

What areas do you serve?

We primarily serve all of Oahu, including Honolulu, Kapolei, Kailua, Kaneohe, Pearl City, and everywhere in between. We also provide service to parts of Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island for customers who can wait for scheduled visits. For emergency service on neighbor islands, we may be able to help remotely or can arrange travel as needed.

How quickly can you respond?

For emergency service calls within Honolulu, we typically arrive within 2 hours. For non-emergency service requests, we usually schedule within 1-2 business days. We pride ourselves on not keeping customers waiting—our average response time is under 2 hours for urgent issues.

What brands do you work with?

We work with all major phone system brands including Cisco, Polycom, Yealink, Grandstream, Panasonic, NEC, and Asterisk-based systems (FreePBX, Issabel, Elastix). If you have a system from a manufacturer not listed here, just ask—we probably have experience with it.

VoIP & Phone System Questions

What is VoIP and do I need it?

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) lets you make phone calls over your internet connection instead of traditional phone lines. It typically costs less than traditional phone service, offers more features, and integrates with modern business tools. However, it requires a stable internet connection and proper network configuration. We can help you assess whether VoIP makes sense for your business.

Why does my VoIP call sound bad?

Poor call quality in VoIP systems is almost always related to network issues. The most common causes are insufficient bandwidth, network congestion, high latency, packet loss, or incorrect Quality of Service (QoS) settings. Our technicians use specialized diagnostic tools to identify the exact cause and fix it. We've solved countless "bad quality" complaints that turned out to be simple router or switch configuration issues.

Can you help me switch phone providers?

Yes! We regularly assist businesses with provider transitions. This includes number porting (keeping your existing phone numbers), selecting a new provider that fits your needs, configuring your system for the new service, and ensuring a smooth cutover with minimal downtime. Provider changes can be tricky—let us handle the technical details so you can focus on your business.

How often should I replace my business phones?

Business phones typically last 7-10 years, but technology changes faster than hardware wears out. You might consider upgrading if your current phones don't support modern features like mobile app integration, if firmware updates are no longer available, or if repair costs exceed replacement costs. We can help you evaluate whether repair or replacement makes more financial sense.

Pricing & Contracts

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes, we provide free, no-obligation quotes for all installations and large projects. For complex installations, we may charge a small assessment fee ($150) that is credited toward the final project cost. This covers our time for a thorough site survey and detailed proposal preparation.

Are there hidden fees?

Absolutely not. Our quotes include everything needed to complete the job: labor, parts, travel time, and any necessary equipment. We'll never surprise you with additional charges after the work is done. If we discover unexpected issues during the job that require additional work, we'll stop and get your approval before proceeding.

What is included in your maintenance plans?

Our Basic Plan ($99/month) includes quarterly health checks, priority scheduling, discounted labor rates ($100/hr instead of $125), and after-hours support. The Premium Plan ($249/month) adds monthly health checks, remote monitoring, parts included in service calls, and a 4-hour response guarantee. Both plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract required.

Do you offer financing?

For larger installations (over $5,000), we can arrange financing through our partner lenders with terms from 12 to 60 months. This allows you to get the system you need while preserving cash flow. Interest rates and approval depend on your business credit profile. We can provide more details during your consultation.
